5K

This past summer Matt's family all came to Utah from Hawaii, Maryland and Florida and we spent a week at Bear Lake. It just so happened that we were there during their Raspberry Days celebration. A few of us decided we wanted to run the 5k that they were having. I had never run a 5k before and I was a little nervous, but I finished in 32 min just behind my father-in-law and my sister-in-law Jamie. Nate and Brendan rocked it coming in at about 25 minutes.

I am very proud of Matt who after having major knee surgery 10 months ago finished the race not long after me. Way to go honey! Thanks for not giving up, I know you were hurting. Next up, a 10k and no doubt we will finish together.
